Economic Empowerment Project

MISSION

Societal and individual well-being prosper when every citizen has the basic economic knowledge and skills to thoughtfully exercise their economic freedom, thus taking full advantage of a country’s economic opportunities in order to thrive in meaningful ways—that is, attain economic empowerment.

The Economic Empowerment Project offers customized, industry-endorsed certification examinations for students and educators as well as professional development programs for K-12 teachers, post-secondary teachers, adult educators, and adult service providers.  These professional development programs are designed to equip participants with the knowledge, skills, mindsets, curricula, and resources needed to provide opportunities for their students to learn economics, personal finance, and entrepreneurship required to make better economic decisions for themselves and others.  A primary focus is placed on providing retroactive opportunities for adults with limited education and income who were not privileged to learn about these three subjects in school.

Ultimately, the Economic Empowerment Project strives to be part of the solution in reducing poverty, stimulating economic growth, and empowering all members of society, particularly those living in impoverished areas across the United States in hopes of improving the quality of life for disenfranchised, marginalized, and underserved citizens.
